Otterbein Sunset House Hosts 5th Annual Community Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration A beloved Ottawa Hills holiday tradition returns with carriage rides, carolers, and classic Christmas cheer Ottawa Hills, Ohio (December 9, 2025): The Otterbein Sunset House SeniorLife Community is delighted to announce its 5th Annual Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration, returning to Ottawa Hills on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 4:30– 6:30 p.m. This festive event has become a cherished local tradition, drawing hundreds of residents, families, and neighbors together to celebrate the joy of the season. “At the Old-Fashioned Christmas event, you can expect to meet several iconic holiday figures, including the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who performed by Laurel’s characters & Co. However, that is just the beginning! Along with meeting these iconic characters, Otterbein hosts Santa’s workshop, Horse-drawn carriage rides through our beautifully lit up campus, Strolling carolers, Holiday music, Christmas kids’ games, Coffee and dessert food trucks, and Cookie decorating. We encourage our residents and our neighbors in Ottawa Hills to attend this wonderful event with their friends and family” states Tara Lloyd, Director of The Woodlands at Otterbein Sunset House.
