Title:               Deposit Operations Specialist
Department:   Operations
Reports to:      AVP Operations Supervisor
 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lockbox Processing
    • Sort, open and prepare customers mail according to customer instructions for Lockbox Image Processing
  • Wire Processing/Incoming-Outgoing, Personal and Corporate-Online Banking Wires Using Wire Exchange and PNC Wire Systems
    • Check ACH Manager/Wire XChange Systems for outgoing and incoming wires and process wire as instructed
  • Process NSF, Non-Post, Return Checks, Positive Pay Checks, Stop Payments
    • Check Navigator for above items. When necessary, process all items to create a completed status on the Navigator System
  • Courier Coordinator
    • Communicate any changes that customers may need to make
    • Check in couriers, sort mail and deliver to mail room.
    • Includes applying postage to outgoing mail
  • Back Counter Imaging
    • Scan all items from front teller counter through the Back Counter Image Processing System and balance each completed batch
    • Balance Back Counter Imaging at end of day
  • Debit Card Processing
    • Order new and cancel lost or stolen Debit Cards
    • Set temporary and permanent limit changes
    • Resolve Debit Card disputes
  • Block Entries for Account Transfers
    • Processing block entries according to transfer form to complete customer requests for account transfers
  • Foreign Checks
    • Complete Foreign Check processing
  • Foreign Currency
    • Buy and sell foreign currency through PNC
  • Process FED items
    • Process late returns, large dollar notices and adjustments
  • Daily Reports
    • Check all required Daily Reports and print necessary reports and notices according to instructions
  • Deposit Review
    • Validate mobile deposits
  • Maintain Confidentiality of all client account information
  • Complete all required quarterly testing in a timely manner
  • Other Duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

  • High School diploma; some business/banking classes preferred
  • Two (2) years of work experience in Bank Operations/Customer Service
  • Fiserv Experience preferred
  • Work independently and within a team on special nonrecurring and ongoing job duties
  • Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels
  • Must have excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and general knowledge of Internet
  • Work requires continual attention to detail in establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Must be able to work in fast paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands
