Arista Home Care Solutions provides quality, compassionate in-home care for the elderly and disabled. We are seeking a detail oriented Human Resource Coordinator to join our growing team. The Human Resource Coordinator Qualifications This entry-to-mid-level role is ideal for someone with foundational HR experience who is ready to take the next step in their career Associates degree or higher preferred. PHR or SHRM-CP certification (or in progress) preferred 1-3 years of experience working in an office setting, preferably health care. Working knowledge of HR principles, employment laws, and recordkeeping requirements Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills and the ability to deal with conflict in a professional and positive manner PC skills: Computer literate. Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) which includes creating reports and spreadsheets Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion Reliable, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment The Human Resource Coordinator Responsibilities Be reliable and available every day, Monday through Friday, to report to work at our primary Toledo-area office location between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, and on occasional evenings and weekends Capacity to multi-task and remain attentive to multiple events and details simultaneously Self-motivated and resourceful in the absence of clear training, direction or procedure Recruitment skills including interviewing, hiring and retention Onboarding and offboarding Maintain accurate employee records Support compliance with state and federal employment laws and company policies. Assist with employee relations issues by documenting concerns and escalating when appropriate. Help coordinate training programs, employee engagement activities, and staff meetings to increase retention The Human Resource Coordinator Requirements: 23 years of age or older Dress and present yourself in a professional manner Ability to proof-read an article and make needed corrections Valid Driver’s License, car insurance, and a reliable vehicle Pass a drug screen and BCI background check Clean BMV driver’s record (4 points or less) The Human Resource Coordinator receives Compensation commensurate with experience Paid vacation Paid time off Health insurances available
