Sylvania Community Services is seeking a part-time Bus Driver for our Sylvania Senior Center. The Bus Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transporting of participants to and from the Senior Center and its programs. The Bus Driver ensures the vehicle is fueled and ready for use and reports any maintenance need to the Senior Center Director. Pay range: Starting at $15.00 per hour Expected hours: Part-time, Flexible hours Schedule: Monday to Friday, Closed Weekends and Holidays Application Question(s): Are you able to pass a background check, physical exam, and drug screen? Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred License/Certification: Valid Driver’s License and CDL Class C License Experience: Good driving record and ability to meet the criteria of Sylvania Community Services Insurance coverage Qualifications: Able to lift 50 pounds; capable of assisting passengers with wheelchairs and other accessibility equipment; must be able to successfully complete Passenger Assistance Training (D.R.I.V.E.), Defensive Driving Training, American Red Cross trainings, and all other trainings required by the Area Office on Aging.
