Description
Join us on June 3rd at the Sylvania Country Club for the last Luncheon of the 2025-2026 Luncheon Season! Over lunch, event attendees will have the opportunity to network with other business professionals and hear from the leaders of Northwest Ohio.
We will hear from Kate Fineske, Executive Director of the National Museum of the Great Lakes, as she presents "Taking History into the Future: Where Workforce, Water and Great Lakes Economy Meet."
What does it mean to live, work, and build a future on the Great Lakes... and right here in the Toledo region? In this engaging and personal talk, Kate Fineske, Executive Director of the National Museum of the Great Lakes, shares the story of how a small historical society grew into a national museum on the banks of the Maumee River and how it is now helping shape the future of our region.
Through local stories, real impact, and a vision for what’s next, Kate explores how the museum is bringing visitors, attention, and opportunity to Northwest Ohio while helping young people and community members better understand the careers, industries, and environmental challenges connected to the Great Lakes. This talk invites others to see Toledo not just as the Glass City, but as a true Great Lakes city, and to consider how each of us can play a role in supporting its future.
