Position Title: Light Maintenance/Janitorial

General Description
This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and welcoming appearance inside and outside of the building. The role involves  various cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the facilities are safe, sanitary, and presentable at all times.
Key Job Responsibilities

• Empty trash containers and take trash to designated dumpster areas.
• Dust, spot clean, vacuum, mop floors, clean windows, and polish surfaces.
• Clean and stock restrooms, including cleaning toilets, sinks, floors as needed.
• Perform snow removal from sidewalks.
• Weed and water flower beds.
• Pick up litter on the property.
• Sanitize surfaces such as telephones and drinking fountains.
• Follow all applicable health and sanitation procedures and adhere to safe work practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Clean kitchen areas, including trash removal, mopping, sweeping, and pantry maintenance.
• Conduct minor maintenance tasks inside and outside the building.
• Assist with unloading donations when needed.

• Ability to follow detailed oral or written instructions.
• Effective communication skills with coworkers and clients.
• Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

• $15.00 per hour

• 15-20 hours per week
• Work schedule to be determined upon hire.
