Marketing Assistant
Primary Role 1. Model Christ-likeness. 2. To support the execution of church-wide marketing and communication efforts by assisting with social media, content organization, and internal communications, helping extend the reach and impact of Crossroads through excellent and engaging storytelling. 3. Drive Crossroads’ Beliefs, Values, Mission, and Vision through Marketing & Communications. 4. Social Media Support Work with the Marketing Director to plan, source, and schedule social media content Schedule posts using Meta Suite Prepare content for Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube Organize media assets and maintain a consistent content calendar 5. Video & Content Assistance Choose sermon clips to highlight on social media Transcribe/edit sermon clips Repurpose Crossroads digital content Edit short-form video content using CapCut (or a similar platform) Monitor current trends and themes on social media and help create timely, mission-aligned content that engages our audience 6. Communications Assistance Proofread or repurpose sermon and event content into short-form copy (quotes, devotionals, posts) Help update recurring weekly materials (bulletins, slides, etc.) Support basic website or email newsletter updates Organize content on Google Drive This position is part time (8-10 hrs/week) and is an in-person position.
