Facilities Manager
Outdoor Sylvania Community Parks is seeking a full-time, salaried Facilities Manager to provide general oversight for park facilities and natural resources. This position reports to the Executive Director and offers a starting salary range of $59,200 to $70,000. Core Responsibilities Facilities and Maintenance: Supervise building and grounds maintenance, manage contracts, oversee capital projects, and maintain inventory. Natural Resources: Coordinate work programs, stewardship projects, and greenhouse operations. Safety and Administration: Ensure OSHA/MSDS compliance, maintain security, facilitate safety training, assist with budgeting, and file required reports. Supervision: Hire, schedule, train, and conduct performance evaluations for staff, interns, and volunteers. Qualifications Candidates must possess either a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with three years of supervisory experience, or seven years of equivalent experience with three years of supervisory experience in a governmental park agency. Required credentials include an Ohio Pesticide Applicator's License, valid CPR/First Aid/Bloodborne Pathogens training, and a valid driver's license. A Certified Playground Safety Inspector credential must be obtained within one year of hire.
