Outdoor Sylvania Community Parks is hiring for a seasonal Waterfront Supervisor position at its location in Sylvania, Ohio. This role, which pays $19.00 per hour, reports to the Facilities Manager and Facilities Supervisor. The position is expected to run from mid-March 2025 through the Labor Day holiday weekend, requiring up to 40 hours per week, including evenings. Key Responsibilities Operational Management: Overseeing swim beach and boating operations at Olander Park to ensure safety, security, and regulatory compliance. Staff Supervision: Selecting, scheduling, and evaluating lifeguard and boat shop staff, as well as resolving grievances. Customer Service: Maintaining public relations, responding to complaints, and providing information to the community. Financial & Administrative: Managing income deposits and performing backup duties in maintenance or training. Required Qualifications & Skills Certifications: Valid CPR, Standard First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens training, along with current ARC Waterfront and Lifeguard Certificates. Experience: Previous management experience in a pool or waterfront setting. Technical: Proficiency in computer operations and Google Applications. Licensing: A valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions.
